Are there any projects that use servlets instead of perl for the infrastructure?
I have been considering this as a possible way of enhancing the function of FOM.
Java provides many possibilities in this area. Let me know what you think.
It would be really cool if FAQ-O-MATIC would work with Java instead of Perl.
Also I have been considering the possibility of hacking FAQ-O-MATIC into a MySQL database using DBI.
It would be easier with java - as I have 2 1/2 years of professional java and only very minor exposure to perl.
Thanks Jason
I would like to see this as well, since everything else in my infrastructure is Java/JSP or PHP (and servlets are quite easy to manage...). The functionality of FAQ-O-Matic is wonderful, but as a small team we're a little hesitant to support and customize a system based on another programming language that we're not as familiar with.
