Beer and Peanuts

There is a tale of a monkey in a village in which the monkey, once a great eater of bananas, and lover of said fruit, stumbles upon the frozen banana and consumes it---at once shouting "never shall I consume another of these plain bananas unless first I have added the magic of cold!" And so he ate frozen bananas. One day, the monkey upset the village people and they said that he could no longer use the village freezer. The monkey stood by his word and never had another banana and died.
And I ask, can we learn from this monkey? Can we not repeat his mistake. Drink beer, peanuts or not.
