It would be nice, if in addition FAQ-O-Matic could rely on an existing user/pwd database for authentication. By using an existing database like LDAP, passwd, ... the average user does not have to remember another login/pwd compination, but can use his/her existing one. You know, unfortunately the average user does not know much about security or computers. He only knows the programs he needs to cope with his daily routine.
Another point is to use an already existing group-management based on e.g. LDAP, groups, ... . So existing groups can be used to determine the permissions. It further minimizes the effort to administrate the FAQ-O-Matic.
