Access Logging
The statistics pages generated by FAQ-O-Matic are now unsupported, and I am planning to remove them entirely. This is because (a) they don't really make sense as a built-in part of the FAQ-O-Matic and (b) they no longer accurately measure read accesses, because the cache catches most read accesses. Instead, I recommend that admins who care about stats use a package that analyzes your web server's log file, such as "analog" (http://www.statslab.cam.ac.uk/~sret1/analog/).
Bernhard Scholz (scholzATpeanutsDOTorg) suggests this analog command line:
  analog +C"FILEEXCLUDE *" +C"FILEINCLUDE /faq-serve/* >/var/www/stat/Stats-FOM.html
