| Fixed some bugs in the search code that cause it not to work on some systems.
(A few instances of incorrectly specified octal file modes, and a sensitivity to corrupted item files that causes the whole buildSearchDB process to halt. Oh, and another bug that incorrectly failed on systems where DBM files have no suffix.)
