Fixes a bug in the authentication stuff that made the validation secret page appear to fail for passwords with non-alphanumerics.

Removes some vestigal testing code that looked (and worked) like a backdoor! Honest, I didn't mean it. (This should be a good reason to upgrade...)

Made it work with Perl 5.004. An unfortunate side effect is that GD::filledPolygon() seems to have stopped working with 5.004, so the statistics graphs are a little less colorful.
